Yeah I didn't want it to just plow through one ring players who don't yet have a full build and kit.
Yesterday's mini update was to get back in the toolset a bit. Scorba in Angmar from original Arda has been updated and made more dangerous. Double drop:
ang
white robe of the archmagi
armor of freedom
copper dragon armor
red dragon armor
white dragon armor
shield of the dragonslayer
hammer of blasting
forge fire
storm +2
ord
bastard sword +3
rapier +3
dagger +3
light flail +3
heavy flail +3
light hammer +3
warhammer +3
waraxe +3

Certain mobs were hitting too hard because I was testing with a dwarven defender. So I backed off a little on their damage output to accommodate other build types.
Your eagle feather item will check the area you are in to see if it is flagged as above ground and outside in order for the giant eagle to take you to Rivendell. Kind of makes sense even if it is less convenient. But the item is very easy to get. For those who need a teleport from anywhere item, they can go to Tol Falas to forge an ARD. If it doesn't work outside then let me know which area is incorrectly flagged.
I have tested the Beorn II axe exhaustively and settled on some stats that do not make it overshadow Dain's axes yet still offer high performance.
Mace of the Defiler and Blood Moon Kama are new forges. The mace is comparable to Ongrum in performance except it is primarily sonic instead of magical and it has mind effects immunity. The kama has both +2 Str and Wis bonuses, 1d8 pos and neg, keen, +4 enhance and +3 vampiric regeneration. |

Item restorations to original properties so far:
Pendant of the Elf
Helm of the Dark
Helm of Stone
Dragonhelm that Ren drops
Dragon helm of Dro-lomin the Great Goblin drops
Naramba cloak
Forest Bowguard
Crown of Armoq-Al-Wanu from trollshaw |
Eelskin cloak with 10% slash immune, sandals of the leaper (from Cardolan dungeons) and gift of varda with improved evasion are restored but not live just yet. They'll end up in the next update whenever it goes up.
You can keep the fancy versions or sell them and use the restored originals instead. Player's choice. |

If all goes well we'll have a limited armor appearance changer inside the Rhudaur trading post. Initial test works without issues.
The neck and chest parts will be left out but we may have the means to change out shoulder plates, arms, belts, legs and shoes to some extent.
At this point any new selections default to the more limited set from the stock game but at least they are different. We'll see how it goes.
Also underway is another mummy tomb this time way out in the desert somewhere with new vampires to stake as well. We'll reuse the same keys from the first mummy boss instead of making more keys. |

I heard from Illuminus on Dec 23'rd, he said he had been very busy with overtime the past months and should have time to start working on updates again after the holidays. _________________ Tread heavily and carry two big axes |

I've not heard from Illuminus since the December reply mentioned above. I just sent him a follow-up email to check on his status and if he still plans on being the Arda dev. _________________ Tread heavily and carry two big axes |
