hiya peeps

I would like to - scratch that - must mention that the pics look AMAZING!

GO Arda 2 Team, GO!!!
*general cheerleader-y spazziness*

awww, Illuminus, did you leave the fuzzy forest friend (or any of his relatives) alive, in case I'm needing a future pet to get lost with?

plus, little lost Pan wonders if it was just Madwack with the funky, disappearing, reappearing, unneccessarily windy, obstacle-strewn road fetish? being the directionally-challenged spacial 'tard I am, I'd like to inquire about getting around in our shiny new Arda. should I figure on more, less, or an equal amount of time panning about? or should I just figure on investing in breadcrumbs/a whole lotta string? hehe

I have to admit while running around on some of the maps I get lost briefly or really just lose my direction orientation. This area is a bit worse for that, but it is intentional design in this case.

It was more a case of fuzzy forest friends not leaving much of me, so yes you might say I left you some pets. Razz

I think the overall "getting lost" factor will be reduced this time...both by intention and necessity of the new game engine. Though to get from point A to point B you will still need to know the way.

We will however have fewer wilderness areas and have plans to release the maps all nicely labeled and whatnot so you can save them off and reference them easily.

We might be approaching a beta test before much longer. I'll take screen captures of all the outside maps and put together a world map. An HTML image map would work better than one huge graphic file. Then again some people might want to print the world map, so it would need to be scaled right for printing as well.

Since we don't have any players I had to feed this critter my test dwarf so it doesn't starve while we wait.
