Hi folks. Once we move to the NWN:EE I would like to wipe the vault. Thoughts? _________________ Tread heavily and carry two big axes |

I dont think having the vault wiped will bring more people - i think it might even scare off the few that remain.
Having "old chars" does not interfere with the arrival of new people for two reasons:
first: old chars might help new chars with gear, money, advise and help (teaming up). Having such an assistance is a boost for newcomers.
I had all four wipes "survived" and it was a big pain to begin gathering +1 stuff until u could more or less safely travel in a BIG party in harder areas without being killed in the first rooms (killed = all party members are killed and no one can rez - with expensive scrolls, which have to be bought).
btw: Big party means also many people playing at the same time. we are scattered all around the world, so that playing all at the same time is nearly impossible. personally i regret not being able to beat sauron for i need at least 2 more ppl fighting on my side. i m all on my own in my timezone.
second: if people do not want help (refusing all kind of assistance - which i really respect) then arda is wide enough to venture in other dungeons without crossing paths - even if the new and the old chars have the same lvl range.
if you now ask that having the vault wiped might bring some changes then my answer is clear:
I dont think i ll be playing again. i invested too much time for having all lost and start over gain from the very beginning. _________________ May my Sword shine in battle with courage and honour.

I agree with Thor. Don't think that I will restart another time. Not that I play much anyways. |

Yeah, I'm with the no wipe people. I've lived through several as well, so I know the pain it is to recover what we've lost. With no guarantee that there will be an influx of people I think we should keep it as is.
Also, I remember seeing those guys with all the gear parading around and thinking "I want that gear!" Which made be stick around and persevere. |
