Hey all, I have been on quite a bit lately I found that the current xp feels low for a pw action. Arda seems more of a grind then I remember any chance we could have even a temporary xp increase to test it out see if its more fun and encourages more players to come online.

We recently had a returning player who has not come back online for a while since he feels difficulty to xp gain is not fair. The amount of times he died did not help either.

Constant request. Never materialises. I'm not sure what the ins and outs are, however, this was why a lot of us old guard would hand out equipment to new starters. However the higher levels have always been a grind. There's been no change there....ever Razz

aye - the main problem is the gear. once you are more or less well equipped ventureing around and gathering xp in harder areas becomes fun.

i remember after the 4 wipes how hard it was to lvl. i also remember passing +2 gear because i just found +3....

whenever there is a new player i m willing to give some decent equipment.

No worries thanks for the info was just trying to see if we could promote having more players on and possibly new ones.

Didnt realize the consensus on a temporary xp buff.

I will be sure not to mention it going forward.

It's not really a consensus, it's more that however much we've asked for it in the past, for exactly those reasons, it's been met with stoney silence from the builders in charge. I'd personally welcome a lowering of the xp table, but it's unlikely to happen.

so do i. XP increase, - or better - a flatter curve in gaining lvl would be appreciated.

advancing, especially when u are high lvl and 2nd or even 3rd reinc ist an endless story.

on the other hand.... thats the price of being reinc.

Reinc costs would still go slow when you get used to the speedier xp for normal leveling. Smile

Lowering of the table pretty much does the same thing as an increase in xp in my mind. I would support either change.

what i mean with lowering the table is that the exponential rate isnt that high.
250 k are needed to grow up till lvl 20. 250k needet to get lvl 39 to 40.
having the expo rate lowered would mean that u ll need only 200k (example) to jump from 39 to 40, but you would still need 250k to get from lvl 1 to lvl 20.

the progress would be more "linear".

but whatever change is made - i m not against it Very Happy

It's been so long since I was in I can't remember what each level is.
