The family just ordered a dell, it comes with windows vista pre installed....Windows Vista upsets me very much. I would advise anyone who knows how to use a computer even a little bit not to get it....that is all.

the family's new pc has 1gb of memory in it. On startup, windows uses close to 700mb of it....that is absurd.
Also, all reports i've read say games perform horribly.
If you know how to use a PC you will find vista terrible as everything is different, perhaps to someone who has never seen a PC before it is easier to figure out..but not if you already have a clue.

meh...I used vista and found it quite easy to use...
It was just like using a mac...except...not quite as good |

Ex, this is 1st grade stuff....the world does not orbit Windows Vista...duh
anyway yeah..i'm sure its fine for what it is..but currently there are too many incompatibilities
i've heard some bad reports of people trying to play games on it...not to mention nwn2...

| hehe. Well I have no plans on getting vista seeing as it would clog up my system severely on the current config....and also...who gets a new version of windows when it first comes out? stupid waste of time |
