Hello everybody! Since i heard that the server will be up again, i installed NWN on my new pc. I immediately run into some problems.

I've tried it with the step 3 from this guide (http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Catalyst_video_driver) and it used to do the trick last time the server was up and with my last pc configuration.

However, now that i use the old version of atioglxx.dll file in nwn root folder the game won't start at all. If i try to test graphic settings with nwconfig i'll get an error message stating that i do not have OpenGL support at all (at work now, can't remember the exact message)

Any of you run into this sort of problem and managed to sort it?

I'm currently running i5-4690k, MSI z97 board and XFX Radeon R9 290X with newest drivers.

Cherz

hi oulu, i'm trying to remember what i did since i think i had similar issues...

on one PC i have to run it in Windows XP SP2 compatibility and disable desktop composition.

the version of atioglxx i'm using is 6.14.10.9232 - this is with a Radeon HD6700.

don't know if any of that helps Neutral

set .ini files and setup files for nwn to Protected too.

Will stop nwn deciding to do its own thing and corrupt these over time Wink

Have fun guys!!!!!
