Wow, nice landscape, great work! =) (That was one of things that kept me playing on arda^^)
In picture 2 ("High up in the mountains on the Dwarf Road with Tol Galen in the distance") some of the trees are obviously of the same modell (for example the 3 trees in the left back in the valley). It would look even more natural (trees would be less alike) if you just rotated them a bit (that doesnt take that much time, and its really worth it).

The trees can't be rotated. What happens is the object appearance stays fixed no matter what angle you see it from. NWN 2 contracted for the same tree software used in the Gothic games. They look great if you alternate different types as in the Tol Galen at night image.

you can do infinite variations on trees, but the developers recommend no more than 5 different tree types per area...not sure why but there must be a reason. However, I can try to resize them and scatter them around a bit more.

Oh, I thought it would be just like in the NWN1, I often used of the rotation option.
The trees on picture 2 already look like randomly scattered. It wasnt my intention to cause any extra work for you, it was just an idea to help you to make the area even more perfect *g*.
Without the opportunity to rotate and the maximum of 5 different kind of trees, I dont see anything what should be changed. As I said, I like that landscape^^
Btw, was it your intention to make it that foggy? Or is that another toolset issue? I remember that in NWN1 some objects only where visible within a certain distance. One had the option to make it foggy, or to grant a view for example on "nude" (=treeless) hills far away. Comming closer, the trees (and other objects too) began to be visible again.

it does seem rather foggy in that one shot, not sure why it is more so than some of the others. I increased the default fog distance by a lot as is. I'd be afraid to max it out since this game is so much more system intensive than the old one.
