get to select epic spells at lv 21+ lv 11+ (if going bard assasin)?

Or does the fact that they never get to cast lv 9 spells screw them and they can never take epic spells, regardless of spellcraft?

Im getting majorly conflicting answers on this , some say solong as spellcraft is high enough any normal class over 21 or any presige class over 11 can take them... Others say you need to be able to cast lv 9 spells before epic spells open to ya?

how does it work on arda?

It is possible only if you take Pale Master. If you take 16 pm levels you can get epic mage armor and epic warding. So maybe a bard, pm, assassin?

www.nwnwiki.com helps with this and many other questions.

Quote:
Characters can gain access to these spells by taking the associated epic feats. Epic spells appear for any spellcasting class once it attains "epic" level (11 for prestige classes, 21 for normal classes). These spells require a certain number of Spellcraft ranks in order to be learned.

Alltho when you look at spell descriptions youll see that none of those include bard as aceptable class.

Dunno then about the arda special epic spells.

k Think ive sussed it thanks.. need to be epic class and have spellclass, but you also need lv 9 spells or 15 levels in palemaster (get to pick at lv 16)

I am right in thinking you gain access to epic feats when your character is 10+levs of a prestige class or 21+ levels of another class (does this work for example 10 bard levs and 11 rogue levs or do you need a full 21 levels in rogue or bard?)

Everyone with lvl 21 or higher can take epic feats. For example its pretty common to get preepic 10 PM lvl , 1 lvl of another class and 9 wiz lvls in order to gte the bonus feats of wiz lvl 10, 15 and 20 in epic lvls, so that you can chose great int for example.
Some few feats my have the req "epic class" though.
