You still have full immunity and yes they stack upwards or downwards. Logically with overwrite players could just reequip the 100% immune to regain the full effect anyway. The question is does the engine apply the least immunity worn and the answer is no.

Changing electrical to 50% negative immune. Harm spells will only drop ring bearers to about half hit points instead of almost none. No true seeing for this ring. Keeping +2 strength bonus on it but not dex or con. Note horrid wilting does magical damage not negative even if it is from the school of necromancy. However I believe there are some necromancy spells other than harm, neg energy burst or negative ray almost never used that do apply some weak negative damage in an area. Circle of death may be it.

Remember also that an implosion spell is not death magic nor necromancy but an evocation that grinds up the physical body with kinetic force unless the character's fortitude resists it.

So now I have a question for players. Has anyone made or found Ring of Featur I? It is about as good as the one ring but I don't know where it drops or where it forges at. I suspect it is associated with the far south because Featur was associated with the Court of Ardor. Here are the new upcoming stats for Featur's Ring. Original +5 regen will be replaced with 15m white light to power this item down a bit.

Con +2
Dex +2
Str +2
AC deflection +5
Immune to mind effects
15m white light
true seeing

If it doesn't drop or have a forge area I can stick it in as a forge for next update.

i m ok with having again new stats with the one but i do not wish to have old ones being deleted once the "new" one is uploaded. i ve created many chars especially because the stats of two old ones - 2 old ones or 2 different ones did enhance the chars performance due to its build paired with the old ones stats.
Please do not forget that forging a one requests 26 different items to find - most of them are rather hard to find. It takes very long to find them all. Now its also hard to trade them, due to the lack of online players (made again harder due to different time zones).

now having just one version of the one (a non-tranable version with negative effects) will blast away all the former character creation - because i ve based the creation on especially the old ones stats.

Having a “new one” isn’t too hard to deal with – character creation can be adapted again. But what really – REALLY – hurts is that the old ones will disappear and the old chars have been created basing on the old ones stats.
Therefore I bit of you not to make the old ones be replaced by new ones.

Madwack wiped all the chars a few times back in the day because he didn't want "Old" versions of the gear in the game anymore.

I know it's hard to cope with but it's happened before and will happen again. At the moment we're running with Illuminus' vision, and it's probably going to take quite a while to balance everything out.

I have not noticed how the old items interfered with the new ones recently (well i speak as a player not a dm). I cant check all the scripts that run in the background. But there was not a lag, not a bug warning, not a crash while playing with old gear. (old gear = gear that has been used since the dawn of the forth wipe)

The first wipes were because of some "über"-items that were around like the elemental ring.
idk how über is the old one compared to the new ones.

Iron Crown of Morgoth helmet is also grouped in with forge items for characters. Not sure if it is in as a forge or not right now.

Current stats:

+2 all abilities
AC +5 deflection
Continual Flame unlimited
Improved Invisibility 3/day
Freedom of movement
20m blue light
True Seeing

A bit much. I would get rid of +2 dex, +2 wis, have no AC deflection bonus and just 2/day imp invis. Since Morgoth's alignment basically translates to chaotic evil in DnD terms, it should also be only wearable by non-good and non-lawful alignments. Or, it could corrupt toward chaotic and evil over time. Or both!

Iron Crown is a forge in Tol Falas forge.

You can only make it with the Silmarils shards which only drop off Sauron.

Personally I think if you've managed to Defeat Sauron that many times to get enough Shards to get it you deserve something a bit special....

Also, the Iron Crown was basically made of the Silmarils, which were created by Fëanor, and so would not be inherently evil, unlike The One Ring, which was forged in hate and anger by Sauron.

are these the final stats of the one ring?

if yes i think that the decrease of elemental protection (different sorts) and - especially - the lost of the imp evasion combined with the divine vunerabilty (most bosses use ETS and greater ruin - some bosses even several in a row) makes it a big regression.

I think the one should not be stripped of imp eva. There are only four forge items that provide imp eva: theodens armour, aragorn warhelm, celebimbors mail and the "old one".

Concerning Ring of Featur: yes, it is a Tol Falas forge item and the parts are really hard to get. So the stats are appropriate.

The same is even more true for the Iron Crown. As Exavior pointed out correctly, it is insanely hard to forge and merits those stats.

Comming back to the One. Are these really the current stats:

Cha +2
Int +2
Str +2
Wis +2
Invisibility (3) unlimited
50% divine vulnerability
50% acid, fire, negative immunity
Immune to death and mind effects
Regeneration +6 ?

I mean, forging a One takes around 1 year playing regularily and the effort should be worth it. I totally go with Thor that these stats are a big regression. Most of my chars are built around the old One. So why did the stats of the this central of Arda´s items have to change?

I strongly vote of having the old stats back. For consistency and to make the ring worth the effort of getting all those parts together.

Background is obviously that I´m playing with the thought of returning to Arda and would like to have my chars back in the state as I left them. I don´t have as much time to play as the years before and having useless Ones on my chars would just be annoying (considering the effort to compensate for that by adjusting all the gear).

I´m sure most of the changes and addons are of great quality as the tower in Tul Harar. But please take back this change. As old as Arda is, as much is the need for consistency and continuity.

I don't mind the old stats, but please could we change the name? It is just ridiculous that so many The One Ring are around.

That is why I avoided forging it. That and the hassle of having to gather all those annoying items.

hehe.

It's the annoyance for me. I forged it once. That was enough for me. Wouldn't go to that kind of hassle for it these days. Was kind of ok in the old days when there were people to trade with, but now it would take a year starting from scratch to forge it.
