We haven't seen a server event for who knows how long.

If there are at least 6 players on for a couple of hours we can hold a DM event at the Helms Deep area.

In the past it usually involved 50 or so enemies spawning in on the field all at once and when they were reduced down some bosses at the end. That was kind of processor intensive all around.

I'd modify this a bit and break into task forces of 1-2 nazgul along with a handful of the guards you usually meet around them. Clear the task force, loot the field then we roll on to the next encounter.

At the end would be a finale with the Necromancer and the acid tower bosses. Or it could be Smaug along with some burning shadows. Who knows?

Here's the place to sign up for a good time and day for your character to participate.

I would also like to do a one time only mule storage exchange for a forge item of your choosing. After the event would be best to get everyone covered. So how much and what kind of items can get exchanged?

I believe a count of forty unwanted items is fair. We would be looking for forge metals like all the mithrarian dropping everywhere and accumulating on mules. Copper and silver would not count however.

Any other forge component like adan helmets, demon hammers and monk gloves, aman robe pieces, rila staff pieces and sword parts, scales for armor but not the generic dragon skin. Mithril ring from moon fort would not count.

Pretty much no cheap or generic component but instead valuable type metals, unique nameds along with shards/parts/sections of any number.

In exchange you can pick one forge item you want except for morgoth's helmet or any rings of power which will include Featur's ring.

Another fantastic idea. I know my brothers and I would love to participate in a Helms Deep event! Hopefully most any weekend will be good for us with enough notice to plan. We have also been saving up all the ORDs we find and have enough for a few spawns in Tol.

The mule storage exchange would also be pretty cool, maybe drop the item count to 30?

I ll be back this Wednesday - only at 2100 CEP though. Still have to catch up on the private work since I "missed" 4 weeks at the army.
Let’s schedule the event (several options) if it doesnt take place on Wednesday.

I ll try to be online on Wednesdays as much as i can - but in 5 weeks i ll be on duty again, and at the end of December there will be again offspring: D so changing diapers will be a major task then.

We're at -5 from Greenwich Mean and he's ahead by an hour or something. So maybe -6 off 2100 is right before dinner time. Hope that helps Very Happy

we wanna schedule an event for friday decembre 4th?

it s the only possibility i have to play during a WE... (or not on wednesdays)
and since it will take some time to get there, we could try keeping the eve free for the event.
