Here is the deal (some ppl on another server explained it to me Smile):

If you are using windows, you should find it along this path,

windows > system32 > drivers > etc > hosts ,

open the file with a txt editor and add

0.0.0.0 nwmaster.bioware.com

save and no delay accessing the list or joining a server with direct connect.

The bioware server checking player passwords is no more (meaning everyone can use your account now -.-). Ithilsila´s workaround skips the step where NWN tries to connect to that server - saing you 15 secs or so.

conserning this bug... is bioware ever gonna fix it?

Not that I would know of. I wouldn't count on it. The game is too old for that kind of support.
